They have nice vibrant colors, but they feel much smaller than I thought they would be I guess when I read the listing title, I assumed the 12" was maybe referring to the shorter of the sides or was a misprint. Of maybe I just really have no idea how big 12" is in real life in comparison to how big it seemed in my head. These are smaller surface area than my regular dinner plates (which are close to 11" round). They don't feel big enough to be considered serving platters. They'll be better suited for individual meals.
