What I liked about this Senix 21-inch Gas Push Lawn Mower with 140 cc 4-Cycle Briggs & Stratton Engine is that it came pre-assembled. All I had to do was remove it from the box, unfold the Handle, and add Oil and Gas. You do have to move the pull cord handle up onto the mower handle but this takes about 5 seconds. The Oil comes with the mower and you simply use the entire container because it is sized for the mower. After inspecting blade and adding fluids, I hit the primer 3 times (as instructed) and gave it a pull and the mower started right up. I haven't used it to cut the lawn yet but plan to in a couple days. Once I have had some time mowing, I will probably post an updated review. Note: The pic on the left is the Senix mower and the pic on the right is my old mower which I had for years but is struggling lately.Update on 9/4/2024: I cut my lawn today with the Senix 21-inch Gas Push Lawn Mower and I can say it was a complete joy. I've been cutting Lawns since the age of 8 and I have never pushed a lighter lawn mower that had this much power. My Lawn is ~1/3 Acre and it was able to cut the yard on a single tank of gas; the mower started right up, ran great, and never bogged down. I am so happy with this purchase and hope my future cuts are as enjoyable as this one!

I bought this mower because I wanted a simple trouble free machine. Self propells are heavy and trouble prone. It took me an hour to put it together but I am 82 so a bit slow. I advise anyone that does not have a pretty good level of mechanical experience and a metric tool kit to buy one of the other two models, they are much easier to assemble. I can tell by some of the negative feedback that improper assembly caused many of the problems. Additionally, I only plan to use one height setting, taking the wheels off to change the height would be a real pain. The box arrived on time and all parts were there and in good shape. The assembly instructions are pretty good, but there are a few things to be careful with. The first step is to bolt on the lower handles, look at figure 6 to see that they flare out, not in. When installing the wheel figure 4 is misleading, the bolt or axel goes into the wheel and the bushing and nut go on inside. Be sure to really tighten the nuts and bolts. I don’t think the trailing shield is designed properly, if you use it don’t back up the mower.I put ln all the oil that came in the bottle, and filled the tank with non ethanol gas. Note I checked the foam air filter and it was already lightly oiled. The oil and gas caps came off easily. I pressed primer 3 times and the mower started with 3 pulls.I mowed for an hour and it never worked hard even though the grass was quite high in places. I was surprised that it was so powerful. The cut was very even. The Briggs and Stratton operators manual is useless, it was actually laughable.Looking ahead I would like to know if anyone found where you can buy a replacement blade just in case Senix doesn’t sell them.Hope this was helpful and I will write again if problems crop up.

This mower uses a Briggs & Stratton engine on a solid steel body. It has simple controls that work and is of sufficient size to do moderate mowing work. Oil is included and the mower started on the first pull. I use this mower to supplement the main mowing I do with my John Deere lawn tractor, working on the steeper sides of culverts and close into shrubs, trees, etc. It is perfect for this work. There are three downsides to this product. 1. The assembly instructions are terrible. In fact they are almost useless. Thankfully I am used to assembling these sort of products so once I looked over the parts I pretty much winged it and put it together fairly quickly. Even with my history of assembling machines I managed to bolt the handles on the wrong sides and had to reboot them. The "instructions" did not explain the sequence, the picture was actually backwards, and the parts themselves are not numbered or labeled right and left. 2. The protective shield that hangs down at the rear of the chassis to prevent debris from being thrown backward is poorly designed and quickly gets chewed up when you pull backward on the mower. Unlike most push mowers the shield does not have a heavier tube that runs along the bottom preventing it from folding under the mower into the blade. I am actually going to attach a piece of old hose to the bottom before it gets completely destroyed. 3. The wheel height cannot be adjusted without unbolting the wheels from the chassis. This is not a problem for me but I can see it being one if this is used as a primary mower. Apart from these 3 things I believe it it still a best buy for the money. Mowers that are better at these three things cost WAY more and often don't have as good basic parts. I consider it a good deal.

The SENIX LSPG-L2 20-Inch is light, simple to use, and easy to push. The deck is finished with an enamel that prevents grass from sticking. The Birggs and Straton engine is easily strong enough to cut even thick Saint Augustine grass, and the fact that it is a simple push mower means there are fewer things to go wrong and you can mow at any pace you wish. This mower is a gem.I would strongly suggest changing the oil after two mows. The oil is drained by upending the mower. I used a hose with a bench rag wound around it to direct the oil. The break-in oil was dark and needed to be changed. To fill the oil I cut a section out of the handle of an old plastic milk jug to make an angled funnel.
