Product goes on thick and its hard to get a thin layer. (applied at room temperature) This probably serves well to protect the tape from water saturation and significantly prolong your tape job if you retape infrequently. The downside of this is that it may be too thick and sticky for quick stick handling. I didn't notice a huge impact to my own play, being a hack, but my very talented buddy who borrowed it to try definitely said it made his normally very quick stick handling slower. Another downside is that it does not come in a can like another famous brand to keep it clean and contained (in case of melting if your bag is in a hot car). Going back to the other brand. Mr. Zog should stick to surf boards.

This wax is much more sticky than the other brands that you are familiar with. This ultimately means better puck grip and spin for your shots. In addition to this the wax will last very long and you will find that you will not have to tape your stick very often at all. The one draw back to this wax is that it is almost too sticky when you first apply it. The puck may flip and stick a bit too much but you will find that this dissipates the more you stick handle.
