I had the bridge version of this pickup in a Telecaster, and loved that sound. I built the guitar as an Esquire (no neck pickup) and wanted more tonal variety. I knew this would be the perfect complement to the La Brea bridge pickup, so I bought a new pickguard and a 4-way switch to add the "parallel" option. Huge improvement in tone! That 4th position is absolutely killer with a Fulltone and a BD-2! Massive fat tone! I love it! Very easy to install, just like any other Tele neck pickup. The ground wire to the cover is easily exposed for the 4-way connection, and this pickup easily balances with the bridge. It's exactly what I wanted that Tele to be. Great product, price, and delivery was on time and exactly as described!
