This material worked great to re-string my blinds. The price was reasonable and it is enough material for me to be able to re-string every blind in my RV (and probably then some). There are good videos on YouTube about doing this, if you need help. It took me two tries, but works perfect now.

I purchased a set of strings from a major box store to restring my vertical blinds. Unfortunately the quality was very poor as they tended to come apart.I also looked at many other strings/cords in the store and online. There are cheaper/lower price solutions out there but the story of this seller/manufacturer spoke to me so I decided to give them a try even though they were twice other suppliers.Soon as I received this product on time, I could tell the quality was much superior. The cord is tightly wound and so much better than anything else I had seen or purchased.Soon as I restrung my blind, it made a huge difference in the ease of operation. I did purchase a slightly thicker cord compared to the original so it will serve a long time and function better.I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

We have a few dozen pleated shades that are raised and lowered daily so I'm used to restringing. In the past I've bought lift cord from a local blind repair shop and was not happy with the quality. I then started buying from a Web store that specializes in blind parts and found their cord as good as the original. When I needed more I was surprised at the price so I checked on Amazon and based on the positive reviews I purchased SGT KNOTS for a try. I'm very pleased so far with the quality, feel and color and expect it will hold up. It seems as good as what I've purchased in the past form the Web based store but at considerable savings.

The main problem with restringing blinds is that they're all different to string but this cord was easy to work with and -- after three weeks of use -- seems sturdy. Was worried that because it was thinner than existing (frayed) cotton cord it might not catch in the cord lock, but it seems to hold just fine. Some twisting at first from being wound on the spool (even though I tried to straighten it out) but I assume that it will relax over time. Raw umber is good color match with bamboo blinds; looks natural with all four blinds I restrung. Would definitely buy again and the spool has plenty left on it so I'm sure I'll be finding uses in the garden, craft room, etc.

I have a whole house's worth of 25 year old shades with cords on the most used shades starting to fail. I used this 0.9 mm cord to fix a couple of my blinds and they work like new again! I bought 100 yd of this cord and it ought to be enough!I've read reviews here about the size of the cord and I can confirm the 0.9 mm cord is the right size as advertised. The proper way to measure is to wrap it firmly 10 times around a pen or pencil and press the loops together and measure the span. 10 turns of 0.9 mm cord will be 9 mm which is a bit less than 3/8 inch. (0.9x10/25.4 is approx. 0.35433 FYI 10 turns of the 1.4 mm cord should measure a bit less than 9/16"and 10 turns of the 1.8 mm cord should measure a bit more than 11/16"

Material seems strong and tightly woven. I bought 1.8mm to replace 2.4mm cord but seems to work fine. I bought 300 feet and replaced cording on 6 bamboo roll-up blinds and had some cording left over as well. I bought this product because of its sunlight and moisture resistant properties. Only time will tell but I am hopeful.

Appears to be a good value for the amount of cord you receive. Was not sure the color of my lift cords was going to match when I ordered it as every screen represents color pallette differently. Definitely close enough that I have no qualms using it on our custom wood blinds. Ordered enough to redo all of the lift cords and not just the two broken ones, but since color is close enough will be able to do them only as necessary. Like the idea of having the extra available. Strength seems identical if not stronger than the original. (Of course they are 20 years old and exposed to sunlight everyday so the original cords might have felt the same way on day#1)

The cords on our soft shades break occasionally and so I try to replace the cords. I have struggled finding cord in the local stores that works well. So I looked online and thought I would try this cord and it works great! It fits perfectly in the mechanism and the cord seems strong and looks great.
