Two different Town Inspectors failed these detectors. They do NOT comply with ANSI/UL 217. You will NOT be able to sell your house with these detectors. I'm now outside the return window - sucks. Anyone wanna buy these from me - real cheap?

East to install, great price, so far works great, not sure about the battery life, haven't had them long enough to know.

Based on the incorrect English in the packaging, I was worried it wouldn't work. So I put it in a closed small tubberware box with a piece of incense. And it went off. But I could not get it to stop going off. The directions didn't carry through there. But for the price point, I don't care if I have to remove a battery if I avoid burning my kitchen down. So it works!

I bought this CO2/Smoke alarm for my camper trailer . It is small and does not look out of place . I hope I never hear it accept for the test but it is good to know it is there .
