I have bought tape before on Amazon and this time time I chose this. I am a teacher and I even gave the librarian some rolls. This stuff does NOT tear off on the little "metal teeth" on the tape dispenser. You must press your thumb so hard and it just pulls out longer. Sorry but this product is terrible. the stickiness when put on something is good (normal tape function) that is the only reason i gave it the extra star. I am going to throw away most of the rolls because they are not worth the frustration of kids trying to pull off a strip of tape and getting 10 inches!

These refills are just what I needed. I have plenty to use for all my needs. The quality is good, the tape is clear and has good adhesion.

The first tape I ordered was not the correct size. I thought I measured correctly, but it did not fit. I of course bought the cheapest tape on Amazon the first time. I returned it. I love Amazon for easy returns. Then I reordered the brand name that went with my dispensor. I say match the brand name with the tape and not the cheapest. Works great and still a good price

I am very unhappy with this purchase. The whole reason I bought rolls that weren't in individual plastic disposable dispensers was to use in other dispensers I have, so that I didn't have as much waste - these rolls of tape don't fit in any of the dispensers I have, no matter what brand! The rolls will sort of fit around the mechanism that goes in the middle of the roll, but they are too tight to spin freely, and the tape itself is too thin/fragile to pull with any force at all to get it to spin. I have a drawer full of tape now that is mostly unusable without a big hassle. Spend the extra few dollars and buy Scotch, or Staples/OfficeMax/Office Depot/Amazon/ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS. I really didn't even look for reviews before buying this, I was just looking for the best bang for my buck, because I figured tape was sort of standard across the industry. Yes, I can fold over the end and use scissors, but it's not convenient for what I purchased it for, and in no way kid-friendly.

Nothing special its scotch tape. I am really only writing a review because it had a few drawbacks that made me knock some off the ranking.It is worth pointing out that, just like tape makers, tape dispensers are wide in variety and some may not have any of the issues i had.A) there seems to be a slight size difference in the hole vs your standard office tape dispenser. Luckily since its plastic you could force the core the tape normally sits on in.B) seems like the amount per roll is slightly less than what we previously had in stock. I don't have our companies regular tape handy to say exact amounts (i bought this cause it was cheeper than our regular stock).c) the tape is slightly plastic in quality and did not rip very well on the teeth in the tape dispenser.Because of those reasons I found it a 3 star product. Not bad, not great, but it will do the job for a decent price.

I don't know how you could go wrong with this many rolls of tape for this price! Plus this way you aren't wasting a bunch of disposable plastic dispensers. I order this tape for my business regularly and use it in two different desktop tape dispensers and it fit just fine and cuts normally too. I also put a couple of the rolls into a few "cheapie" disposable dispensers - the inside of the rolls seemed like they werent going to fit at first but with a little wiggling they popped in and worked perfectly after they were in. The tape rolled normally and dispensed the tape just as well as the original roll that was in the plastic dispenser. The tape is plenty sticky and seems to be the same thickness and just as strong as "normal" scotch tape is. Its very very clear too and extra glossy. Will keep buying it for sure.

The dispenser tape is expensive, and I ordered this. The price was cheap, but pretty ok. It has a glossy finish, which is fine, but it’s hard to get it off the dispenser...I think it’s because of the thickness....but it’s tape...so don’t be so picky!
