I bought these as components for an interactive puzzle- I had thought that the ability to switch the colors would be useful later, so I could update the puzzle without installing anything else. However... I've had issues with literally every one of them, even after reinstalling them AND after replacing them. Sometimes, they won't light at all. Sometimes, they get stuck on one color and can no longer switch. Sometimes, one of the colors just dies and you can't do anything using that one. I even had the switch plate itselfs fall off of the LED while I was trying to adjust it. Now, I will admit that this may be because I was using 9V, and it's come to my attention that these are 5V. So, it is very possible that all the problems I had are related to that mismatch. Regardless, I still thought I should share my experience with these components.
