It's fun to light them up on demand. :-)I modified mine slightly by trimming off most of the base so it sits tighter on the RC. It's a fun add-on to play around with.

Installed today. Lights alternated red/blue for about 5 mins then went solid and very dim, now will not alternate or shut off on 3ch traxxas transmitter. Not a quality product for how much they charge.
