My favorite pens. I won't use anything else unless I have no other choice. It's smooth writing and fast drying. There's no drag with the pen like other pens so that feel like they write "dry" if that makes sense.

I am 42 years old, so I'm just the right age to stubbornly continue to write by hand when I'm able. And these are, without a doubt, the best pen I've ever used. I prefer a rollerball/gel pen to a ballpoint, and these write smoothly (with just enough of that tactile scratchiness one might expect from a rollerball), they DO NOT SMUDGE, and if you're using a higher-quality and thus thicker paper, they don't bleed, either, especially with the ultra fine point.I can't recommend this pen enough for anyone who enjoys a rollerball/gel pen. They're fantastic. I won't get another pen at this point, unless I literally have no other choice.(The 0.5 mm fine point is good, but I prefer the ultra fine point if only because I have very round, large handwriting, so it looks neater with the ultra fine.)

When I first used one after they arrived I was disappointed and thought I had wasted money, it skipped and seemed almost too sharp of a point. I put it away, then later grabbed one and started using it again. The more I wrote with it the smoother it became. It now leaves a very precise dark imprint with no skipping and I love it, so my advice is to grab a sheet of paper and doodle on it for a few minutes to get the point "loosened up".

One in the pack was not working properly. It was scratching the paper and the ink flow was inconsistent. For the others that worked they were mostly good. The ink was not easily smudged, it was smooth. I really liked them but I would try other brands before repurchasing because sometimes there would be excess ink coming from the nib, leaving ink blobs while writing.

As an avid note-taker, I recently decided to try out the Sharpie ultra fine point (0.38mm) gel pens, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great they were. These pens are incredibly durable and of exceptional quality. They are an excellent value for the price, and I was thoroughly impressed with my purchase.One of the things that stood out to me the most was how comfortable these pens were to hold. As someone who writes a lot, I can attest that having a comfortable grip is crucial to prevent cramping and fatigue. These pens delivered in that regard, as I could write for hours without discomfort.Additionally, the ink quality is fantastic. Omg, this pen is a DREAM to me! I've tried sooooooooooooo many pens, because I'm very picky. I like fine point pens, but they have to be DARK, too. For instance the Office Depot Advanced Ink pen was my go to pen for a long time, BUT they would start out very dark, but get super light after only a fraction of the ink was used. So frustrating! I never in the past liked gel pens or rolling writers because of the smearing. But I haven't tried these pens in many years. Technology and improvement of things move on, however! Anyway, I decided to try the gel pens, because you could get them VERY FINE! I tried several. All of them were nice and fine, but honestly, all of them were really sticky, though nice and dark and wow, they actually, really do not smear!!! I cannot accept the stickiness, though. The only exception of all the very fine gel pens I tried was this one, and I am absolutely thrilled. I love it, it flows easily as you write, and of course it's also nice and dark and slightly less fine than the 0.3mm at 0.38, but it's actually nicer, because it looks even darker than the dark 0.3mm. So YAAAAAAAAY! I found my new go to pen. I do not think the ink on these will get lighter, and it looks like they will last a long time, as the diameter of the ink tube is a lot wider. PLUS, the price is right, especially if they last until the ink is gone! Try these, you'll like them!
