It’s lightweight, UPF 50+ rated and removable. Even though The neck shield was specifically designed for the narrow brimmed styles, it can still be worn with all Shelta styles effectively. How it works: The chin cord must be attached and worn snugly around the chin or worn military style (cinched tightly on the back of the neck) It can be worn 3 ways: On top of the back brim and away from the neck. Tucked under the back brim and close to the neck. Placed under the front brim and close to the face.

When you order your Shelta hat get it a size big, there is a drawstring adjustment to tighten it to your head

Only attaches on top of hat. Needs to be attached underneath brim for better results.
