I have turned my DS lite into a Gameboy Macro with a full alluminum shell. The old nintendo battery was bad. I did not want to invest in a lithium ion battery type c mod and this kept me away from that. Its mainly a beauty object and I just want to use it to play some nostalgic games from time to time.

I've been breaking out some old game systems and bringing them back to life if they weren't turning on and needed a new battery. This seems to be doing a very good job at powering my DS Lite and keeping it running for a long while. Installation wasn't bad and wasn't very time consuming either. The price point also seemed very good as well.

I'm pleasantly surprised they still make these! My old DS Lite used to live on the charger, but now I can use it on the go again, as the designers intended. Lasts for 4-6 hours.

I am not totally displeased with this battery, since it does work. And it looks like it will do the job as well as the original battery did. I'm a bit disappointed in that it won't have twice the capacity. But, it works.

This battery works in my DS lite, but after giving it a full charge, it does not last twice as long as my original 10+ years old 1000mAh battery that came with my DS. I wouldn't say it's a bad product, but I have a hard time believing that it's actually double the capacity of the original DS battery. I tested both batteries by leaving the DS on the game selection page of Legend of Zelda at full brightness after charging each battery fully. With this battery, the system lasted around 8 hours before shutting off. With the original battery, all I can say is it's still going after 8 hours.

This battery does not last long, after fully charged the battery will only last about 1 hour of playing time.
