This is definitely not what I was expecting to receive and is NOT a good value for the money if you are looking for a good quality dog barrier. First off, it's extremely unsafe with the standard hardware as it just rolls forward with the slightest push even after you tighten it all the way. I went out and bought rubber washers and bolts to make it work. Second, with the materials used to construct this, if you have a dog that's even moderately on the large and/or hyper side this thing will have a difficult time holding them back. After installing it, I've decided that I'm just going to continue to let my dog ride in the backseat and just get a seat cover and seatbelt to secure her. I am going to keep this installed though because it will make a decent rack/barrier to secure some gear to.

Title isn't 100% true, we did get it to fit, BUT only because we removed the middle headrest and turned it around and we had to place the cage on the front of the headrests, where people's heads would rest, as opposed to the back, which wouldn't allow people to sit back there. Or at least not without getting popped in the back of the head every once in awhile. If you don't mind that, never have passengers, and/or your dog doesn't stress chew and wouldn't bite on the exposed backs and sized of the headrest, then get it. The way we had it worked and didn't slide, fall off, or even rattle. It was quick to install even with how we placed it and it is adjustable. All that is why it isn't getting a low rating.Just order off a cage off of SpeedForm if any of that is an issue, we recently did only because we are visiting family and we'd have remove this one and reinstall, but the speedform one allows for a more permanent (without it being actually permanent) solution.

I have this barrier in a 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy and my 2021 Ram 1500, and the barrier was so easy to install and is very sturdy. I would recommend to anyone looking to get this..

I tried another mesh gate system for my 50 pound dog, but she was able to push it aside and squeeze around it. This gate worked really well in the back of my Prius. I removed to top bar so it would fit and extend the poles all the way to the side windows to keep her in the back. My dog can’t push aside the extension poles because they lock in place. Very happy with it so far.

So happy with our second attempt to solve the dog drooling on passengers shoulders!. This fits our Acura 2003 MDX, it’s well-built metal, but not too heavy for one person to remove & reinstall. Great value for solving several cargo problems for us.

Don’t buy this it doesn’t work. I wasn’t able to return it either which is horrible! And when you go to call the customer service number it’s not even for their company… the bars done stay in and my dog has gotten stuck between the seat and bars. As well she jumped through a few times and landed in my newborns lap. A 55 pound German Shepard. This says it’s supposed to be for safety. And it’s done the complete opposite by injuring my dog and almost really hurting my child. My husband had a different brand one in his car that actually does it’s job. I will never recommend this to anyone! Save your money!!!!

Looks well constructed and would have fit 2023 BMW x5 M if wasnt for the middle seat headrest. If you have a head rest on ypur middle seat this probably won't work. If the j-hooks were longer it may have been okay.

Finally a pet barrier that works! I tried the Weathertech brand and it was terrible. It never stayed in place. The Sherpa is super easy to install and the sliders that extend the width are lockable so your dogs can’t move them. I installed mine in a 2021 Chevy Suburban.
