Since I am in a humid place where things rust and break quickly, a pack is just what I needed. Oh, the dismay when the first one lasted only a few days. No rust though, the top that holds it in place inside the shifter, dislodged from the cable. I would give one star, but hoping the first one was just a fluke. Another week, maybe another cable... time will tell.

I had to buy some cables in bulk to take to youth bike practice and races. These come in handy and we have never had an issue installing these cables. They also seem to be made of good quality.

I have had 100% failure with these. They break off from the bead leaving you stuck in your highest gear 5 miles into your 30 mile ride. 3 failures so far all of them mid ride. Gift these to someone you hate.
