As noted by multiple other reviewers — they don’t fit right on the stock stems that are on your bike. I had to jerry rig some washers and put holes into them in order to get the brakes rigid. $17 should be $5 for this

I use this brake with an e-bike and it performs very well with the weight and speed of this e-bike. Good value, easy to install.

Product arrived as promised and is performing well. However, I would suggest that if you have your own cable, that you make sure it is compatible in size with this product. I didn't and had to make some adjustments but that was my bad, not the seller's.

Fits my son's Brand: Marin, Model: Hidden Canyon bike.The instructions that came with the brakes leaves something to be desired. I almost decided to take it to a bike shop the next day and have them install it. Fortunately, I went to this YouTube video: [...] "Installing V Brakes on a bicycle" by Spadout.com. Except for his advice to use grease on the screw (~2:10, don't do it as it will negate the lock-tite seen as a white paint that is already on the Shimano supplied screw threads) it was very informative and allowed me to install the brakes without a hitch.
