Your cart is empty. At the end of last season, you promised yourself you'd finally buy some fresh rotors in the spring, so don't put it off. If you're running 6-bolt disc bakes, grab the Shimano SLX RT66 6-Bolt Rotor and make sure you'll be able to stop consistently on the muddy, rough trail conditions you're bound to encounter in the early part of next season. A steel construction promises durability without a hefty price tag, and strategically carved mud-shedding slots throughout the rotor's body help your pads stay cleaner and less crusty on wet days.

5 stars But be careful from store purchased (some 3rd party = sell bulk no packaging and must clean with alcohol)***SLX rotors*** are the lowest standard id recommendI used 10+ years with SLX/XT brakes, 160/180, and 2/4 piston ***commuter*** post/flat mounts (currently using center lock adapters = cheaper to use 6 bolt for same benefits)

stays straight so I spend more time riding and less time fixing.

The rotors I received are marked as China not Japan as pictured. The thickness of these rotors measure at the minimum 1.5mm out of the box. My original Japan marked rotors measure 1.7mm after two years of use.

Bought the 160 and 180 based on images showing Japan and machined rotors. Product that arrived was stamped rotors from China. They are straight. They stop. The 180 up front is noisy. It is not what I was expecting

I bought this to replace an OEM installed SRAM rotor that wouldn't stop squealing, wet or dry. I bought the 6-bolt, 180mm rotor. Problem solved. When installing a new rotor like this, wash it with strong detergent. And do the same for your pads if you intend to reuse your old pads (providing they're in great shape). A light sanding on a flat surface is recommended. Make sure you've washed and dried them. I haven't had good luck with isopropyl alcohol, so I'd stick with Dawn, or Simple Green or something like that. Then, when you're ready to go, make several (at least 10) full-throttle stops with just the brake rotor you replaced. You need to bed the pads to the rotor. Then... off you go.

These are good, knowing they are not the super rotors like the IceTechs. They work well with resin pads on my hardtail that doesn’t see super heavy duty use, just cross country riding. They arrived in solid boxes that kept them straight and true. They are easy to install, come with bolts and locks needed to install. Pro-tip….always replace them, do not reuse the bolts from the ones already on the wheel.
