I was trying to pinch pennies and bought a non name rotor (I think Teyssor) which also had a lot of reviews - it was all out of alignment and made some terrible noises when braking. This rotor is like perfectly silent and smooth, I even bought a matching one for my rear wheel once I got over the idea of spending $50 on 2 rotors

Meine Bremse hatte kaum Bremswirkung und hat laut gequietscht, mit der Scheibe und neuen Belägen bremst sie jetzt wieder super

These are the absolute worst rotors I've ever bought. They came out of the boxes severely out of true, and I spent a whole day trying to get them straight and true, but I just couldn't get them anywhere near true. I had to spread out both brake pads to stop them rubbing on both sides, to the point where the brake levers almost hit the handlebar. I've had Chinese rotors off of A-EX that were far better than these.

I purchased these to replace uneven rotors on a new electric bike. These are much higher quality and provide greater braking power. Highly recommended.

I haven't troubled myself to see if it's heavy or light. I don't see any cool features or design. It just works. It's true, it arrived in due process and it fits. If you need a genuine shimano, 180 disc, that is reasonably priced I say do it.

Good quality, which is typical for Shimano. These brake rotors arrived perfectly true and perfectly finished. I have a 180mm in the front and a 160mm in the rear, both are excellent finish and quality. Resin pads only.____________________________Quiet, smooth and powerful. These rotors after the bedding in process produce stops that are quiet and free of squeaking. There is no strange vibration or shuddering, as the surface is smooth. The stops are powerful enough to skid a mountain bike front tire on gravel.____________________________My set up includes two Shimano m375 calipers on Universal to post mount adapters, Shimano BR56 180mm rotor up front, 160mm in the rear. Shimano universal stainless steel brake cabling and Shimano T-Type brake levers. This setup comes up to less than $50 a wheel and produces ample power on my rigid single speed 29er.

I upgraded my shimano 160mm front brake to this larger 180mm front brake rotor for that extra bit of leverage (and mostly the look of a larger front brake than rear). The breaking performance increase is noticable - though for my casual style of riding on mostly flat single track trails - probably unnessecary. The packaging the brake came in was unharmed and came with very simple easy to follow (large pictures makes anyone happy) insructions and installtion took about 10 minutes as the screws were brand new and somewhat difficult to tighten. Overall I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to a better looking larger front rotor.I also ordered the Shimano F180P/P Disc Brake Adaptor for my bike because thats the kind of mount my caliper needed to adjust for the size difference in the two rotors. I will write a seperate review for this particular product but I would like to mention the two items fit together relatively easy and I am very pleased.!
