Shimano make great products.....don't be fooled by lesser brands which have almost identical packaging but are poorer quality. [mild steel instead of stainless steel!]

The chain appeared new in its plastic, sealed envelope in the box. However, the connecting pin was clearly missing.

Bought for Ultegra Gruppo. Didn’t realize there was a dedicated road chain. Will throw this on MTB

This worked perfectly. I did not need to remove any links, and it came with a quicklink connection

I have Shimano drivetrain and I replaced my chain as soon as it gets to 75% of wear, it is a great investment, better than replacing the rear cassette or chain rings if you push it a bit longer. I am very happy with the performance, they last me about 1500-2000 miles and I wish they will go a bit further but it is what it is. I would recommended if you have Shimano, Sram and do not know if they are compatible with other brands I think is safe to stay with the same manufacturer of your drivetrain. I hope this helps.

I ride a 2021 Polygon Siskiu D7 that has the Deore 1x11 drivetrain. For whatever reason, these ship with a KMC chain. I've had the bike a year and put about 1300 miles on it. Lately the shifting in a couple of gears weren't the best, no matter what adjustments were made.I purchased this as a replacement and it shifts better than new now. Highly recommend!

Great chain I used this on my mountain bike and this chain is my go to for top performance.

Fits Ultegra power train as expected. Minus 1 star because Shimano is still not using a quick link for easy remove/replace. Ended up buying a set of KMC quicklinks to use with this.

I can’t believe the beating this thing has taken and it’s still holding up. I’m a 350 lb pro-ranked powerlifter who rides aggressively - I was born to snap and stretch chains, but this has held up to punchy climbs, water crossings, and watt bombs all year and hasn’t had an issue.

Great chain at a good price. Just know ahead of time that these come with a connecting pin/rivet, not a master link. Also, here's a tip from me to you: When you've got the chain sized and you're ready to put the pin in, put the pin in from the inside out. After you insert the pin and it's time to break off the excess, there is sometimes a small burr/burrs left behind. If this is the case, you don't want that burr rubbing on your casette and jockey wheels making annoying noises. Nobody wants to ride next to Squeeky McGee. So don't be Squeeky McGee, put the damn pin in from the inside. You're welcome.
