I donβt think you can find better tires at this price point but the fact is their really not cheap and grip the road great!

I bought this to complete my CB360 build. I was a bit nervous going with this brand but now that I have them on I wont use anything else. This tire looks mean and rides smooth. I have a few buddies that have since then switched over and most of the people that I ride with now use this brand of tire. For this tire it fits the CB360 just fine. Don't waste money on stupid expensive tires when you can get this one for half the cost.

First time I have used this brand as yet haven't rode with it on the bike yet (too hot in Texas). Waiting for a cooler evening to test it out. But it looks of very good quality, arrived in good time and was an excellent price.

Some of the reviews state this tire is too soft of rubber and wears out prematurely. Folks I've rode motorcycles for over 40 plus years and have used just about every tire out there. There is nothing wrong with a soft tire in fact I prefer it, it helps the bike hug the road. Too hard of rubber you will be buying new pants along with those mufflers you tear up when you lay your machine down.(get my point). As for this tire someone said it wore out in 5000 miles (rear tire) guys that's about all you will get out of a tire on the rear. I love this tire. It's not made in CHINA. And the price is practical. I'll buy another set good lord willing for my 1978 KZ650B Kawasaki. Keep the shiny side up!

Some time ago a friend of mine had a Honda Ascot and asked if I would mount these tires for him. I spit on the ground when I said the name ""Shinko?"" I had never heard of them. Shortly after mounting his tires he decided to get a bigger bike and I bought the Ascot off him. When I took it out for a ride after the initial scuff in period I must say I was shocked. These tires feel quite glued to the road for a cheap bias ply general purpose road tire. I'll never forget riding the old Honda in the rain one day and a truck pulled out in front of me forcing me into an emergency braking situation. I am happy to report that once again - even in the rain these tires handle with tons of confidence. For a more objective review, I have a 2009 Suzuki TU250. I bought it and burned the factory ChengShin tires off of it in about 6,000 miles of riding. I then switched to a Dunlop D404. They felt OK overall and lasted about 8,000 miles (in fairness this bike carries passengers often so normally the rear burns out faster). I was always disappointed with how the D404 handled in the rain.Remembering my good experience in the past with a little over 14,000 miles on the odometer and little tread left on the rear tire I bought two new Shinko 712s and mounted them one weekend with new tubes. After the normal scuff in period I started gingerly picking up speed on some switchbacks. I have to say that my expectations were met once again by the Korean tire company. These tires are positively glued to the road. I have no problems riding in the rain or on less than perfect pavement. I can drag the foot pegs on my TU250 in a corner and feel fairly confident about it. I now have over 16,000 miles on my little bike and the tires seem to be wearing well. If I can get 8,000 miles on my little 250 I would say that I did pretty well considering these tires cost a fair bit less than most of its competitors. Not everybody loves Shinkos and I would caution that the weight ratings of this tire are not super heavy - I would not mount this tire on a very heavy motorcycle. But if I had a light bike that I do not race with I would say these tires have got to be about the best on the market right now.
