This tire replaced an OLD "Michelin Competition" trials on an 05 txt pro. Probably the original tire.I went to Shinko's sight, read independent reviews on line. Shinko sells the 241 as a trial/trail tire. The tread pattern is about the same. Typical Trials. The side wall is flexible at 5psi. The old Michelin still had more flex in the wall.I wanted a super soft compound with mushy sidewall at an affordable price. I'm impressed with what I got.I'm sure the Michelin is softer and more flexible new. It's purpose built and 4 times the price. I would of liked softer all around.This is an OK trials but probably a better trail tire. Street use ???? It is DOT.
