Right off the bat, this one stinks out of the packaging. Very rough and I prefer to not use it without gloves. My sensitive horse will tolerate it at best and only if he's really itchy. He doesn't like it.

These were way too stiff and scratchy to use on our mare. It never softened up, no matter how much we soaked them. If your horse has sensitive skin, I wouldn’t recommend this.

My very fussy and very sensitive thoroughbred does not like most curries and brushes but she was loving this as I rubbed and scratched her with it all over..it did bring up the dirt and then I used a super soft brush to wisk it away. Problem solved!

This cactus cloth works really good at getting the loose dust and dander that the brushes left behind and brings out the natural shine of the coat. I hold it and use the length of my arm from wrist to elbow to rub my horse down. Wraps around the legs to do them in 1 or 2 swipes.

Removes the dust well and my horse loves the feel. A little scratchy but not stiff. Everyone needs one in their grooming box.

My horse usually hates being curried. I've been using this as an alternative and he does not seem to mind at all!Have not tried it yet with mud.
