Excellent quality for the price! Only girth I could find that would fit my giant horse, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised! The color is darker than the pictures which I was happy about! Only thing is that the inside of the girth had a melted nylon bit that rubbed near the buckles, but I clipped that with a razor blade and all is well!

Looks to be of quality construction, my only complaint so far is that the fleece is pink. Like cotton candy pink, which looks very pink on my black horse. No mention of it being pink in the description or in the listing picture. I would have never ordered it knowing the fleece was pink but I need the strap right now so I can’t return it.

I ordered the pictured girth—a Shires girth. The girth that arrived is an ARMA—evidently the new Shires? Anyway, I was very pleased with the quality of it. I ride a spotted draft-Tennessee Walker cross, and she’s a very particular horse—especially when it comes to girthing up. I ordered the 56.” It’s sturdy yet offers the stretch she needs. The saddle stayed right where it was supposed to be, and the girth has a nice width to it that isn’t cutting. Think this girth will wash up well too.
