I bought these about 8 -9 years ago when they first came out. I need to replace fluorescent lights that finally went out in my garage and ordered these and they are the same as they were 8-9 years ago. Simple to install and connect. Cheaper now then in tha past. Added a motion plug and works perfectly in the garage where it's installed

I haven't hung them yet, but the opening the box and checking it all out I like what I see! Good solid lights and wiring. Several ways to hook them up and what is great is that they give you all the wiring and parts for any of the different ways you can hook them up and hang them. And these lights are nice and bright!

Although the two foot long connectors are just *barely* long enough to connect the tubes for my shelves, these lights are perfect for my winter house plant collection. They're very bright, which is exactly what I needed, and the four foot tubes exactly fit the length of this steel shelving unit. This setup should keep my plants happy indoors all winter, while the rest of the house gets very little winter sunlight. The tubes weigh very little so I simply zip-tied them to the underside of each shelf. The lights can afford to be very bright because the LEDs are so much more energy efficient and put off less heat than any other option. This also means that they do not have to be hardwired or have any demanding installation requirements; you just secure them in place, plug them together, plug the setup into a regular grounded wall outlet and turn them on. I am hoping these last through multiple winters to come!

I bought a ten pack of the 4ft t8 to replace some old florescent tubes.I installed ten in April 2022. Each of thrm individually hardwired (two drops, 5 pigtailed to each drop. No chaining) In December 2022 two showed burned out led chips, and the rest of the leds in those tubes would flicker visibly and rapidly so I disconnected them.6 more died with the same symptoms between December and April. I just went out to the garage and the final two have died. You can still see an extremely dim glow off of the led chips but maybe 1-2% of working brightness. When these were working they were extremely bright and I was satisified but having 10/10 die within a year is just too much.

Update: The replacements were received intact, though the box had minor damage it wasn't treated as roughly by the shipping company. The lights are fine, work as advertised. The packing could still use a big upgrade to make sure it can take a few hits in transit and not break/bend and damage the lights.Like a few others who have reviewed this product, the 4-pack we ordered was also damaged in shipment. I blame this equally on the part of the shipping company and the company who makes and packages the product. The package is the bare minimum to hold the 4 light strips with no internal packing material or padding which, combined with the relatively thin cardboard used for the box, means it is easy to damage. There is also no obvious label I could find that calls out the product is fragile. I know these contain no glass, but the metallic frame is a very lightweight material and can bend easily, especially when you consider the lack of packing material inside the box and this should warrant a clear fragile marking. While all of that is on the manufacturer, the shipping companies are horrible at handling packages and seem to get worse as time goes on (at least in our area). The package we received looked like it had not only been tossed around, crushing up one end of the box, but possibly dropped onto something where it landed with the middle of the box on a solid corner with enough force it literally broke open the cardboard box and bent/dented the metal frame in the middle of each light.I'll update my review on the actual lights IF/WHEN we receive an undamaged set, which may take a few tries with the inadequate packaging to survive shipment by today's delivery companies.
