The added length greatly reduces the amount of road debris kicking into the lower cowl and all its associated dirt, helping keep the Goldwing clean. Made from polypropylene to match the OEM fender. Mounts securely with double sided tape and 2 custom mounting screws with blind nuts for a secure fit.

Easy to install. Helps keep road tar and other grime off the lower plastic. It's a shame Honda didn't put it on at the factory.

This was a fairly easy install and keeps a lot of the road crap off the front of the trike. Once installed it looks factory. I’d purchase it again. I really think it is a must have.

A little clumsy to install. No template and the instruction sheet has blurry images. I used a small drill bit for pilot holes, checked alignment ended up being about 1/8 inch too far forward. Drilled second pilot holes adhusting back to center of hole on extension. Then used a drill bit larger but not final 1/4" bit. This cleaned up the excessive hole then I used 1/4" bit an checked again. Still not perfect but close enough to stick the extension in place with adhesive. Then I reemed one hole making extension and fender holes aligned this made the hole on the extension oblong by 16th or so but the hardware adequately covered it and the fender hole, the other side worked withiu reem out. Looks good and I believe my chock in the trailer will slide up under with no issues.

Seltsamerweise ist gerade bei der Goldwing der Kotflügel vor dem Motorblock sehr kurz geraten. Durch die Kotflügelverlängerung ist die empfindliche Vorderfront des Motorblocks vor Steinschlag und Schmutz geschützt

This keeps the front of my engine much cleaner then the stock fender. It drove me crazy on hot days getting tar splatter on the chin fairing and this eliminated that problem. Helps keep that hard to clean area much nicer.I wish I didn't wait so long to add it.

Nach langer Suche habe ich die Kotflügelverlängerung für meine GL 1800 gefunden. Da der Preis in Ordnung war, habe ich das Teil über Amazon USA bestellt und super schnell per UPS geliefert bekommen. Ich kann jetzt sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden mit dem gelieferten Teil bin. Die Qualität ist auffallend hoch. Das Produkt ist nicht zu vergleichen mit den chinesischen Kotflügelverlängerungen.

Contrary to what some have said, if you follow the directions, you can drill without removing the wheel, the dimensions given for the hole location were spot on. I would advise just putting a narrow piece of wood between the fender and the tire, just for peace of mind as the drill will hit the wood instead of the tire, but you are only drilling through plastic so no real force required. I found the holding the inner clip with a pair of pliers stops it rotating while tightening the small bolt. Overall it was fairly easy to install, and the two sided tape seems to be holding up. It does as advertised, keeps the muck off the lower cowl.

Works great keeping the road grime off the front chin but you have to be careful if you go off a curb not to snag the fender ectension
