Nice tight seal. Able to turn shower on and off without losing temperature setting. Only drawback is that it is easy to tap the button while holding the shower head.

This is a plastic device with a chrome-like finish. It installed easily and easily controls the flow of water. It works particularly well with faucets that control the mix of hot and cold but have no way of controlling the pressure. For those who want to save water in this situation, it is a good solution. Time will tell if the plastic holds up.

This attaches inline with my shower hose and give me the option to stop or slow the flow of water while soaping up in the shower and also to control water flow if I am just using the shower head to wash some dirty tennis shoes or some dirty feet or some dirty kid.Great value for 2 pieces. It is all plastic or ABS so don't expect a hefty item. But it works fine and is easy to install.

I ordered the Rivoods Showerhead Shut Off Valve - Two Pack in Matte White for my shower because my handheld showerhead does not have a shut off setting. Having spent a lot of time living spaces with limited water, I am use to turning the water off until you absolutely need it. These ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) hard, sturdy plastic shut off valve has a large button that you push to turn off the water and you press the large button on the opposite side to turn it on.Out of the box you receive two shut off valves, two gaskets, two retaining rings and some plumber's tape. As a female, I was able to install the valve without tools in about 10 minutes, (do not over tighten). I did use some plumber's tape, but the instructions state you may not need it. The button is a little stiff to start, but it loosens up with use.Overall, Rivoods Showerhead Shut Off Valve - Two Pack in Matte White are sturdy, well made, easy to install, and the large buttons are easy to find and use, even with soap in your eyes. Five stars.

If you’re looking for complete shutoff of water, this does NOT do that. It looks nice and comes with an O-ring and pipe tape but disappointed about the water trickle when in the off position. I bought the two pack and both did the same thing.It also doesn’t have flat areas on either end for wrench tightening. I twisted this valve on, put my shower head on and then twisted at the shower head nut until both were snug. This is plastic, do not over tighten.
