Installed and 1st trip out, it worked fine for about an hour. Then started making a whine sound. Back flushed it thinking it could be a little debris from water. No luck still has a noise. Will not buy again

The pump broke after the first 5 hours of use on one fishing trip.

The pump broke after using it once. I’ve used these pumps for years and have never had an issue. They usually last 4-5 years. Not sure if this one had a defect but really frustrating.

My experiences that I've had to replace it three times in 12 years the magnet fragments and overheats and the windings short out. To my knowledge there's no way to replace the magnet
