All the wood had rotted away in the concrete around my 1980's pool leaving 1" gaps at the seams. I used some 1 1/4" backer rod and this polyurethane to make a nice looking seal in the concrete. Be sure to use the non sag version at the ends of each run so this self leveling product does not leak out. It is kind of thin but cures to a nice elastic seam. It took a lot of product for my project because of the gap size, but it was worth it. The end results were very appealing. I only wish it was available in colors as my concrete is a light red.

I used backer rod in the control joints on my shop floor. The product flows really well. I made a mistake by not securing the backer rod with silicone first and then using the Sikaflex to final finish. The backer rod floated out of the Sikaflex and made a mess. Fortunately, I had only tried a small area on suspicion that this might occur. The final product is fantastic. TIps: Go slow, secure your backer rod, scrape spills/excess after it has cured for a few days. The product performed well at 50 degrees indoors. I even used the SIkaflex on a few corners that were pooling water. Worked perfectly and looks great. TAKE YOUR TIME and you will get amazing results.

I've used Sikaflex 1C on various projects and it's simply the best at filling concrete expansion joints. I've tried other products and they haven't adhered or weathered nearly as well as 1c. With this order, I had an issue with a tube leaking past the bottom seal with over half the tube unusable, causing a big mess. This product adheres well to anything it comes in contact with so cleanup was a challenge. I found 2 other tubes that had dried leakage at the bottom seal ( I assume that's what caused the leak) and contacted the seller, AWarehousefull. I received a reply within an hour and they had already shipped replacement tubes and an extra one for my troubles. The replacements arrived in less than 2 days. That is exceptional customer service. I HIGHLY recommend the seller, AWarehousefull. I will seek them out for future purposes and encourage others to do the same.

Product worked fine once I got the box opened as 4 of the tube nozzles were pushed in on several tubes in shipping thus causing the caulk to fill on end of the box,it was a bloody mess and 4 tubes were useless.

The application of this product is quite simple. I applied it during 80-85 degree temperature in direct sunlight with various humidity and it skinned over quite rapidly which precluded excessive flow at the ends of the cracks, but still allowed a nice flow. I didn't rate adhesion since its only been 2 weeks since I applied it. I do recommend backer rod for the bottom of the crack, since it will flow through. My expansion crack only required a 1/4" rod to fill and took quite a bit of time to install. Where needed, the second coat showed the start and stop points with a pool of the product but is acceptable. I didn't fully fill the cracks leaving about 1/8" from top which left my drive usable immediately and hides the major color difference between the filler and concrete. Not a fun project, but it it holds up, worth the effort.

This with the use of Playland and backer rod I filled a 1 inch wide 6 inch deep gap between patio and house walls. Easy to use and flows so evenly. Used to fill cracks in expansion joints in my driveway and patuo.

I haven’t use the 12 tubes of crack filler yet. I ordered it because I have been using it for 20 years with excellent success! If yo send me another email in 2-3 months I will let you know how my current supply works. I expect nothing but the superior results that I have gotten in the past. I can recommend this to anyone in any part of the country. With any weather conditions. I have used in Minnesota , Wisconsin , and Texas with the same outstanding results. The price is higher than other products but it works and outlasts the others 10 to 1. Thanks for this great product.John Keener, Granbury, Texas
