I really want some to take a metal spider and coat it in silicon. In the mean time this is as close as I have found for non-stick.

If you want a skimmer to use in non stick cookware this is a good choice. The Silicone skimmers I’ve looked at have bigger holes so they and this one are good for medium sized things like vegetables, gnocchi, etc. This skimmers holes are 1/4 inch diameter. The handle and the sides of the circular part are stiff, and the surface where the holes are is very flexible.The handle is angled to help you reach into a pan - took a pic to show the angle when the skimmer end is flat on the stove. For me I’d like it to be angled some more so that could reach into deeper saucepans more thoroughly. That’s just a personal preference of mine and I believe the angle of the handle will be liked by majority of cooks.

This is a great tool to have in your cooking arsenal. It is coated in silicone, which makes it versatile to be used on all different types of pan surfaces. It washes well in the dishwasher.
