My old cartridge only accepted Shure styluses so, naturally, it was time to upgrade. Shipped quickly and was carefully packaged. The price for the components individually ends up working out to be the same amount, so I was really happy to find this whole unit already assembled. Good purchase for an intermediate setup.

I ordered this expecting the head to replace my existing head on my Pioneer PL 600 based upon the description but such is not the case. I should have read the fine print re: returns because return postage is on my dime and they are based in Canada so postage is more expensive than item. I suppose I can "cannibalize" the new part for its cartridge but if I wanted to do that I would have purchased a higher quality cartridge for what I paid this complete head; Caveat Emptor!
