This was purchased for a makeshift shelter for a feral cat . It kept the tempurature above 40 degrees when it was below zero. I had no issues with its performance. It kept his water from freezing and gave him a shelter to keep him warm in the dead of winter. It was a life saver for him.

I screwed this bulb into the light socket and have been leaving it on 24/7 in the cold WI weather we’re having this winter. It helps put some warmth into the chicken coop . It’s small enough that the chickens don’t bump into it. It doesn’t give off light, just some heat.

Decided to try some of these in my girl's coop. Usually only use heat when the temps get down near single digits and thought these might be safer than the big red bulbs. Unfortunately while they get too hot to touch they radiate very little heat. Might be fine in a very small space but are useless in my coop. I'm going to try them in my well house and see how that works.

I have one of these in a metal heatlamp reflector/cage clipped to an underside rail at the back of my desk to keep my toes warm in the winter. Works fairly well, and with the 150W rated power one only gets singed a little if one bumps into the heatlamp reflector. However, I find that visible light bulbs direct the heat better - these non-light-emitting lamps tend to radiate heat in all directions and heat up the housing more.(I do naturally have all cables clipped away from it, although in theory their insulation rating exceeds the max surface temperature of the reflector)

I ordered these to keep my chickens warm during the winter months. One could argue it's unnecessary but my wife and I found that if you can keep them warm during the cold winter months the chickens will continue to lay eggs. Initially we tried using infrared heat bulbs but quickly found out it would have been a waste of money to continually replace them as they were constantly havening their filaments break. I came across these and figured I would give it a try. They produce a lot of heat quickly and unlike heat bulbs these don't have the same fragility issue and can still be screwed into cheap heat lamp sockets you can purchase from any hardware store. We've had these ceramic heat emitters for over a year now and they are still working strong! 5/5 work as intended and last much longer than their traditional heat bulb competition!

This heat lamp bulb is perfect for keeping my reptile warm during the colder months! It provides excellent heat output and works seamlessly with the thermometer sensor I’ve connected it to, turning on and off as needed with temperature fluctuations. It’s been running smoothly with no issues, ensuring my pet stays cozy and comfortable. If you’re looking for an effective and dependable heat source for your reptile, this bulb is an excellent choice!

Kind of gross. The heat lamps are obviously used. I ordered new, paid for new and got used. There is weird greasy and stuff all over them.
