This product came with no instructions, nor did the product description or website contain any, either. God bless Beth Redmond who figured out how to put it together, and posted in her review for the rest of us.The outer container is sufficiently sturdy. That being said, I do not believe it would sustain anything else being stacked on top of it. Once assembled, the instructionless flimsy plastic "boxes" can be lifted out individually, as long as they are not loaded with too much weight. The flimsier cardboard dividers worked to my advantage. My fault for not noticing the compartments were sized for "standard 2 1/4" ornaments," as most of mine exceed that dimension. I simply folded back the cardboard as needed to extend the compartment size.Having bought it, it will work for now. It is entirely too expensive for no instructions and flimsy compartments. I will shop elsewhere when I need to replace it.

There are no instructions so putting it together is not that simple. You do need to fold the sides of the plastic trays to match the sides with the holes. They are bent backwards for shipping. The trays fit inside the container better if the little tabs are folded inside rather than outwards. Once you do so it creates a little tray that you put the cardboard in. It’s a little snug at first but it all fits pretty well and zips at the end. I will say that the zipper seems a little cheap but that is not surprising. Be gentle with the zipper and the seams. Received it with one of the seams on the side was already undone but does not seem to affect the structure or stability of the bag in general. I would say it’s very sturdy for lightweight ornaments nothing too heavy. My 2 inch ornaments fit great. Hope that helps with the actual building of the bag.

This holds a ton of ornaments. It's alittle flimsy but I still put my good ornaments in it.

The idea behind this is great, but I do wish it was a bit stronger. If you have small kids who may climb, I wouldn't consider this. It is a thin plastic material, it's a bit awkward to carry but it does work.
