I ordered this and saw that the socket on the PCB was larger than the SanDisk SSD drive and worried I got the wrong part. After chatting with the seller, turns out that the drive WILL work in the larger socket. SanDisk has a proprietary socket for the Asus systems which is a smaller size and pinout.Works great!

Asus Zenbook motherboard went unserviceable; this allowed me to pull my data off the proprietary pinned SSD HDD using a 2.5" enclosure.Arrived from China sooner than expected. Thankful this product exists.

Works as advertised. Proprietary Sandisk drives from early ASUS ZenBook ultrabooks can be connected to standard SATA ports.
