It fits on the outside of the stand pipe and was easy to install level with the floor. All the inside ones sit to high and rock. I should have ordered this one right a way instead of bying 4 different ones at the big box stores wasting 3 days

This product sure saved us from re-plumbing a lot of drain line. Super great product, highly recommend.

We had new flooring installed that exposed the toilet flange above the floor. Our house, built in the 50's has a solid cast iron pipe sewer system. Once we removed the existing flange and cut down the pipe to floor level we tried the PVC type replacements advertised to work for 4 inch sewer pipes. Yuck... the inside of our pipe had to be filed down. This took awhile...too much time to think about what I was filing down :( After all the work, I still could not get the new PVC type down in the pipe. I searched again and found this cast iron replacement which did not require welding or lead and gave it a chance. YES! within minutes I had this securely installed. I hesitated to purchase it because no reviews or instructions. Once you get this level on the floor, square with the back wall. Then take 3 screws 3/ 3.5 inches and use the open screw holes to screw this to the floor. THEN, tighten the 3 bolts to bring the cast iron ring up to the flange. This creates a tight seal with the rubber seal. All set, just pop the toilet on.

Worked great. Seller accidentally sent 1 vs 2 but promptly shipped out the 2nd when contacted. These things are heavy duty commercial fixes. Really inexpensive when you consider all the other attempts we made to fix the broken flange and loose toilet. It was easy to break off the old flange, chip away a bit of concrete and just tighten the bolts.
