Installation Steps

- Step 2: Connect the corresponding sticks and boards with screw E (you can use F to fix the sticks and boards).
- Step 3: Fit the hammock onto a coloredstick.
- Step 4: Connect the rest of the group with screw E.

All parts are measured correctly, and all parts fit, once you figure it out! I am usually quite good at assembling furniture, etc. but this little cat hammock took me hours! Print out a picture of it for reference... Your chair has not been short-sheeted, you simply must look closely at your assembly because I guarantee you, if it doesn't exactly resemble what you bought, the blame is on your assembly! (see my faulty photo) I was ready to throw in the towel and return it for being faulty, then I looked again... My outer, longer legs needed flipping! I made the fix and... Voila! Purr-fecto! It is definitely worth the wait and frustration!

Friend and myself were up late watching my cats tearing up the cardboard sofa up. Its snowing cardboard. I had this product already for some weeks, finally got the nerve to put it together. We organized it all out and everything was there. Nothing was broken. What should have taken just 25 mins to 3 HOURS!The instructions were just pictures of the product being assemble with numbered points.. Grant it, anybody could have completed it correctly but I never do things easy. By the end the paper had sketches, numbers, notes, and lines trying to connect nothing but chaos. We had to take it apart towards the end over FIVE TIMES. We got confused with the length of the rods and which way the rail should face. My cats took the screws and left.With all this we completed it. With idiots like us, it could have saved us time if the instructions mentioned "watch instructional video online". The rest 5 stats down the board. The quality of the wood strong, no blemishes or cracks from production. Durability and sturdiness is two skinny guys approved, holds both of our weight. Funny thing my cats still use the cardboard sofa and have not used the chair yet. I might..beach and sun next week. A skinny recommend.

This could have been great. Overall well constructed for what it is, BUT the sisal hammock wad about 4-8 inches short. When initially installed the lounger would not even settle into the most upright hole. We tried wetting it and allowing it to dry with a moderate weight on it, and it still won't reach the other positions. This is our third try for an Amazon supplied cat bed. Do yourself a favor, buy one elsewhere. The quality control is so poor. The other two were missing essential parts.

The fabric was cut too short so we could not extend it, nor does it have enough to curve to allow a cat to sit in it.
