They fit and they work for their purposes. But they are too bulky. Reason you have this is to put them in your pocket after you walk on pavement etc. But it's too bulky to keep in your pocket till later. Does it's job, but too much to carry on every walk or trip to and from somewhere with boots on.

I am aware of four brands of ski boot sole protectors like these: Cat Tracks, Yaktrax, Sidas and these SkiScootys. I’ve had a chance to try all four of these, and they all have advantages and disadvantages.Advantages of the SkiScootys: • These are substantial and durable with thick soles. In contrast, Cat Tracks are not nearly as durable as these. • The soles are curved to assist with walking. • The length is adjustable for different boot sole lengths. Sidas are the only other brand with this. Yaktrax and Cat Tracks are not adjustable and come in different sizes, • A big positive with these SkiScootys is the deployable metal traction spikes on the sole. You can pivot the red piece to expose the traction spikes if needed on ice, or pivot them the other way to retract the spikes. That feature works very well.Disadvantages of SkiScootys: • These are bulky and heavy. You may need to carry a small fanny pack to store them in. Cat Tracks are by far the most compact and easiest to store of all of the competing brands. • The size adjustment increments by about 17mm. That’s a big step. As a result, You may find them quite tight and difficult to attach or detach to boots if the boot sole length is near the upper end of one of the size steps. For example, I attached them to my white boots with a 298mm boot sole length (see photo) and they pop right on with the size adjusted to the second smallest length. But the fit is almost too loose at that setting. But I really have to work to get them on and off if I set them to the next smaller length. I wish the size adjustment increment were smaller. The competing Sidas brand increment in 10mm steps and it’s easier to find a “just right” length with those. • The rubbery plastic material that these are made from does not have a lot of stretch, which also makes it harder to get them on and off of the boots. Cat Tracks and Yaktrax seam a little stretchier making them easier to attach/detach. But those can also fail as the stretchy center web tends to break after repeated stretching.Recommedation: • Choose the SkiScootys for the added traction on ice, the curved, “walk-friendly” soles, and the durable, heavy construction. But be prepared to store them in a small fanny pack or accept a big bulge in your pocket. And, you may find them difficult to attach/detach depending on your boot sole length. But you won’t know about that until you try them on your specific boots.

This is not a quality product. It broke the first time I tried to put it on my ski boot

Easy to put on and they remain on. Gives a little cushion to your step and makes walking around easier. The only drawback, and it is minor, is removing them because they fit so well, you have to cross your leg and really tug. But the point is they remain on your boots until you physically remove them.

These were easy to fit my boots and ready to start treking. The only thing I don't care for is finding something to keep in the pocket that will release the 'claws' when needed.

I’ve already used this item twice when skiing. Easy to fit, put on and remove. Makes walking much easier, especially while carrying skis to and from the car.

Easily fits my boots (318m.) Works on hard sufaces and snow. Shaped so boots rock, heel to toe, making for a more normal walking motion.
