I wanted a wider mirror to replace the pathetic one Ram put in my ‘23. I took a chance based on the other positive reviews. I cannot find one thing I really dislike about this clamp on mirror. It is frameless which is a super nice look. It is much wider than the stock mirror so I do get the range of vision I wanted. It is plastic, so it will scratch if roughly handled but it’s just me driving it usually so it doesn’t get handled much. The clamping system is decent and intuitive. It installed in a few seconds and held tight. No adjustment necessary. Just hang the two tabs on the top of the factory mirror, pull down to stretch the springs inside and slide the bottom tabs under the mirror. Let go and the springs do the rest. I tried both a convex mirror and a flat mirror. The flat is by far my favorite. Convex makes your eyes focus differently on the images and they seem far away. Flat is exactly like factory and easy to switch your focus from road to mirror.Another problem with cheap plastic mirrors is the clarity of the image it reflects. This mirror is crystal clear. No fuzziness or blur. The clamps hold tightly enough that there is no vibration or shake. I have actually received compliments on the look of the mirror. Not expected, but nice just the same. People don’t even realize it isn’t a stock, glass mirror.I cannot overstate how happy I am with this mirror and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The most important thing is to mention this clip-on mirror just stays in place. It also does a great job of giving the driver a better rear view. I bought the flat version because it is for a car my daughter is learning to drive in and I worried that a convex mirror would make objects seem more distant than they actually are. Still, even flat, it is so much easier to see cars that might otherwise be in a blind spot.

Well it was the easiest installation in the world. It just goes clipped over your mirror. The viewing angle is very wide. It's pretty cheap for how sturdy it is. It all around functions really good.

Purchased this as my stock rear view mirror is cracked. This one is flat, so no distortion. It's just a wide mirror. It works fine - no issue while driving.

Other reviews led me to believe there would be a massive difference in the field of view, but I can only see about 6" extra on the rear left and right corners of my 2003 Sequoia. I can see out of the 3rd row seat windows with a bit of effort, which does eliminate the blind spots, but it does take a second to find a focus on those spots which only helps in a situation such as backing up. At highway speeds in heavy traffic this is much too difficult to focus on.The mirror is so wide the sun visors hit it when folded down, which causes it to have to be repositioned. The mirror height allows the entire rear hatch to be easily seen through without effort. The arms which grip the factory mirror are solid enough so that no vibration can be seen compared to the stock rearview.Blue tint provides anti glare effect, which eliminates the need to manually toggle the dimmer at night. This is really helpful if you wear glasses or have an astigmatism like me.For less than $15, I would consider this to be worth the cost, and an upgrade. Although I am not sure if I would go out of my way to search through all of the combinations and options available on here again, I am glad that I went with the flat face vs convex. Despite making contact with the sun visors if they are flipped down, I think that ordering a mirror just a bit wider than this would have provided the drastic effect I was expecting, which I first saw installed in a race car and led me in search of this to begin with.

poor spring system; no clamps, just slippery rubber that doesn't do anything; cannot stand the heat - keeps on dropping when it is hot; shakes all the time (since the spring system is very weak. tried putting double tape and it still slides since the clamps are very short. not recommended at all.

Honestly, I was happily surprised with how this item turned out! I didn’t expect it to work for a number of reasons. I still have it a try, and I’m glad that I did! I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a wider, anti-glare, and super easy installation rear view mirror!
