The image quality is decent, but the magnetic effect of this filter is weak. I took the camera out with the filter attached, only to discover that it had fallen off and lost when I got back home. I'll need to get a replacement from a different brand now.

I recently purchased the Skyreat Black Mist Filter for my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and have been pleasantly surprised. It's significantly more affordable than the official DJI Black Mist Filter, yet it delivers all the same functionality. The packaging is basic and doesn't come with a special case, but the filter performs as expected, offering great value for its price.I noticed some users were confused about marks on the filter. It's important to note that these marks are intentional and crucial for creating the desired lighting effect. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and may update this review with photos or videos demonstrating its effect later on.

I feel obligated to write this review after seeing the various interpretations of what other think this filter is "supposed" to do. - What the filter does: is create a soft, dreamy look to your footage. Not exactly filmic, but closer than the harsh sharpness of digital cameras today. Film a Christmas tree with and without and its night and day. Much more dreamy and soft. This thing will soften lights and put a nice glow around them and it will soften skin and other textures as well. You will only see an actual glow around lights though.-What it does not do: create bokeh or blur effects. It has absolutely no effect on depth of field at all. So for the reviewers that are claiming it doesn't work...they simply don't know what they bought. Sorry folks. It also doesn't have any effects on exposure...meaning you won't all of a sudden get a film look when shooting at 24p (or anything but 120p) on a bright day outdoors - those are ND filters folks. This little filter is a steal (compared to the DJI version), but understand what it does - especially before writing a review that has nothing to do with the intended result. If you've made it this far, enjoy the filter. End of rant!

The filter is a good one. I would use it only if I wanted my shots to look dreamy. If you want a very detailed texture, like the skin of an old person, you should not use this. other than that, it is a very good one.

This does an amazing job and I find myself leaving it attached pretty much all of the time. If you're in an environment bathed in bright sunlight (Disney World, for example) or a brightly lit city street with a ton of color signage (like Times Square), this will help tame the light coming into your camera, sharply reduce glare and make such environments more manageable. A black mist filter is pretty much a must have and at this price it's the best alternative to DJi's.Highly recommended.
