A big plus is that according to its tag this sleeping bag liner is 100% cotton (not polyester as describe in the listing). After washing the liner, instead of simply hanging it on a line to dry, you may want to consider tumbling it at a no-heat setting (air fluff) to shake out wrinkles, then hang it up to finish drying. It’s made of nice fabric and assembled with quality stitching to ensure it lasts through many camping trips. Unfortunately for me, the liner has no zipper on the side, and no zipper at the foot (which I would prefer). Just be sure to keep in mind that at 29.5 inches wide it’s narrower than most sleeping bags.

This is a very soft sleeping bag liner. I use it both to get a little extra warmth out of my sleeping bag and also because it is easier to pull this out after a trip and wash it than it is to wash your entire sleeping bag. This allows me to go longer intervals between washing my sleeping bag.

Or if you have to spend the night with someone who doesn’t like washing their sheets (it happens ) or if you go to a hotel and question the cleanliness. In my life these things happen from time to time. With this product you can stick it in your suitcase and sleep much better than you would without it.It’s a very comfortable material, washes well, and doesn’t take up much space in your luggage. Excellent price for peace of mind.

I got this liner for my expensive down sleeping bag, so I can keep dirt and stink out of that and have to clean it less often. And for that purpose it works really well. I knocked off a star because of the mystery fabric - the listing says polyester and the item says Korean cotton. Either would be fine with me but it is not okay to leave it as a mystery. Suffice it to say it does what a liner should - it adds some warmth (my guess would be 5 to 10 degrees' Fahrenheit worth) and keeps the bag itself clean. It is easy enough to get into and out of, which is important, and launders well though hanging to dry is a bit of a pain since it is so long. It's definitely worth it to get one of these to protect your regular sleeping bags and to make them more versatile by adding at least a shoulder season to them. I found it comfortable to sleep in; other liners I've tried were too sweaty but this one seems to breathe. I would order it again if I needed another one.

Used this on a recent camping trip and it gave just a thin extra layer and a little more warmth in the night. I believe using this I will be able to go longer between trips to get my sleeping bags cleaned, so I expect that within a year this will have paid for itself.

OK, so it's not heavy or anything. But if you are a hiker and are familiar with the ultralight concept, this does not fit that bill. We've got one truly ultralight sleeping bag liner and it's much smaller (when packed into its little pouch) and lighter than this. This is much more thick than it needs to be.Having said all that, I am not obsessed with being ultralight, and we are more likely to car camp. SO, for me, this does do the job well enough. I just want something to keep the inside of my sleeping bag clean and this is easily washed. The fabric feels nice and soft, and I like the pouch that it comes in. It might be a little too much for some people, as I feel it's one of those fabrics that just feels warm by default (so if you are hot natured, this is not gonna be the right one for you). Would probably be best for cooler weather camping.
