I shot alot of broadheads over the years and this is by far my favorite! Impacts exactually like my field tips and is deadly on deer. Highly recomend!

I ordered these looking for a fixed blade that would shoot accurately and leave a good blood trail for deer hunting. First, the packaging sucks. You have to careful not to damage the blades and not cut yourself as the packaging is hard to open. Second, it looks like a muzzy made from a field point. The blades don't seem that secure and almost lost the tiny washer that locks them in. It only stays together when screwed into the arrow, otherwise it comes apart. Third, they do not fly like a field point. Could not get good groups with 3 different types of 20" bolts. They held together in the broadhead target and look of ok quality for what they are. I went with the Excalibur Bolt cutter. It flies straight, and feels more solid. I've killed a couple deer with the bolt cutter, just looking for something to give a better blood trail. If the slick trick flew straight, I would have given this broadhead a try. But it doesn't, so into the box of misfit broadheads.

Very accurate broadhead. By far, the best results I've had.

Ive used these broadheads with my Xcalibur 420 TD crossbow on Proflight shafts and they are very accurate and sturdy. Shoot the same as field tips. Good penetration, total pass-through on bone and muscle. Never had a missing or broken blade after a shot.

These things are sharp, durable, and accurate. With practice, I was hitting 3” groupings at 55 yards.I’ve shot Rage 2 Blade the last two years and had no trouble tracking the three deer I shot. Farthest one was 60 yards. Problem was, I couldn’t shoot past 30-40 yards without the arrow drifting off course. I switched to the Slick Trick because of accuracy ratings. Same bow, same arrow, but now effective range is 50-60 yards, which is a big deal when deer are working to get down wind of you.As far as blood trails go, I was a little surprised at the results. The first one from 2019 started out with a really nice trail to follow, but died down around 50 yards in. Ended up about 80 yards away but the rain had made it difficult. I blame that one on the fat of the deer. The second one started off really nice for 20 yards, then stopped for 30 yards, then was like a red river straight to the deer. Again, I found a fat plug at the end of the 30 yards. All that to say, these thing punch a hole, but don’t slice, which makes me think fat plugging the holes may be the only downside compared to a rage. However, make a good shot and there’s no problem . I will also say that I have way more confidence in these and their punching power. Those rages like to slide down ribs or shoulders, and in my opinion have a better chance at wounding a deer :( . These Tricks will pass straight through and you can use them again and again.I haven’t heard any of the “hissing” some people notice. Haven’t had a deer duck any arrows either.Edit: I tried Ramcats for the start of 2020 season, and was not happy. I’m sure they do damage, but I always dial in with one of the broadheads to make sure I’m right on, and Ramcats kept losing or breaking blades. Slick tricks you can shoot into a dense foam target 25+ times if you wanted. Moving back to these and trying the magnums for 2021Edit: 2024 and 6 deer later, I still haven’t lost one. Also still haven’t found a broadhead I trust more.

I shot 6 deer with this broadhead. It punches a + shaped hole but doesn't have a wide cut. As always shot placement is key! if you don't hit vitals it is not forgiving. It is a tough broadhead and flys like my field points. At 15 yards shot through both shoulder blades of a doe and stuck in the dirt on the other side. She ran downhill about 80 yards. All the other deer ran under 50 yards.

Great broadhead. Flies great out of my Excalibur matrix 360. I’ve tested it out to 50 yards. Leaves great blood trail. Very durable, I had a complete pass through on a whitetail’s spine with only 1 little Knick on one of the blades. The other deer I got didn’t even go 50 yards after the shot.
