Update 12/4: just as I figured it would fall off because of the way it gets mounted it did the first time I was able to go for a ride. Got home and no pad, just disappeared. Waste of time and money. Seller was no help. Complete waste of time. Lousy fit, functionality, looks cheaply made and it is.DO NOT BUY. SELLER WILL NOT ASSIST IN THEIR PRODUCT.

This thing is rock solid and easy to install. The only thing I can knock it on is the fact that the back pad is held on with wood screws instead of bolts, other than that it's been perfect.

Pretty easy to install.I found that the metal side-plates were a angled a little to wide while I was test fitting, but once I tightened all the bolts/hex together they straightened up just right.This backrest and rack do the job just right. And at a great price.I was surprised to find that the cushion attaches to the metal frame with Self-Tapping screws. There is a "wood" piece at the back of the cushion and you attach that to the metal frame. I suppose this is normal, I've never looked at how these things get attached before!The only downside of having this installed now, is that it's a bigger process to remove the seat. The rack has to come off before the passenger seat will even come out. Normally it takes 2 minutes to remove both seats. Now it's more like 10 min.. not a huge deal, but something I wish I knew ahead of time.But it does work. It looks good. It's sturdy, and it provides a great place for a spider net to hold stuff during transport.Overall a good choice.

Good looking product and is easy to assemble but after assembly make sure you trim the bolts, before attaching to the bike, to prevent them from scratching the fender.
