We have only had this a couple of weeks. So far I would say that It has been worth it. I have younger kids, and it is a fun product, and my kids enjoy practicing with these. This keeps them engaged in practice. It doesn’t go far for young kids so it’s a great for us as it helps us get some batting practice in without leaving the yard. Update, I noticed that these tend to leave really deep dents in my kids bats. I would not advise using these on bats for kids in little league with aluminum bats.

Great product for your money!! My daughter plays 12U softball and these have been great for hitting practice in the backyard. She has hit them over the fence, so we’ve lost a couple already. I would definitely recommend for players who don’t have as much strength. Will purchase again!

Good product, helps with follow through, but if you’re buying to use with a younger kid probably younger than 7 I wouldn’t use too much for live pitches. My son is 6 and has trouble once he makes contact but he can fire them off the Tee so we use as a warm up off the Tee for now. Helps with arm strength as well, after about 10 throws he was complaining about being sore haha but it should be a good conditioning tool.

We have been using these at our practices for the last five months with 12 players they have held up extremely well. They work well especially when you have to fit a lot of practice stations in asmall area. We live in the Pacific Northwest where the weather limits our batting practice outside do to rain. So these balls allow for safe batting practice in a small area. We have purchased other brands in the past and they did not hold up through one season.

These are great. I didn't expect for them to have such a quick return on investment. My 7u put a couple on tee and started smackkg them and when we tossed the regular ball, results were immediate.I wont uze these for throwing with the concern it's a little heavy at 1lb, but these are fantastic for building swing strength and next season all my kids will be teeing these up all season.

I used the slugs for a full season with my 9 year old and 6 year old. The balls held up well and look good to go for next season.I purchased the product because I wanted to pitch live batting practice in my front yard. The slugs are easy to throw with high enough velocity to simulate youth pitching. Once hit, they do not travel far. My kids could only hit them a foot or two (stronger kids might hit them further)The results were superior to wiffle ball style products because they can be pitched with higher velocity and the flight path is closer to a pitched baseball. Also, they only travel a fraction of the distance of wiffle balls when hit. The weight and softness of the slug absorbs most of the energy from the bat.I also used the product for warm up before games. Due to the limited flight we could practice on patches of grass adjacent to the field before games.

I wish I bought these sooner!! These balls are just like TCB but at a fraction of the cost. I have 3 boys ages 9, 12, and 15 using them and getting immediate results. Shows you exactly where you're hitting on the barrel. Great for use in a small area. 15 year old swinging a 32/29 bat was topping out at about 20-25 feet. Great for tee work, soft toss or front toss. Teaches you do drive through the ball. I did video analysis off my boys hitting 3 baseballs off a tee, then 6 soft slugs and back to 3 baseballs. The last 3 baseballs were crushed. Great product here!!
