I saw some kids practicing hurling in Ireland a few years back, and it looked like a blast.I am far from athletic, have no one to play hurling with in the US, and probably wouldn’t if I did.That said, if you need a light weight, balanced, strong piece of wood that is designed to be held in your hand and swung with precision- this is it.This now has pride of place under my bed.

Not just for hurling. Solid ash, quite a comfortable grip. I keep it in my truck, you know, in case a game of hurling pops off somewhere!
