Omg, I'm so excited about this over-the-door organizer! The deep, narrow pantry space in this little apartment has been driving me crazy! I'd have to pull all the canned goods out to find anything. This organizer makes it easy to see what I've got on hand. It was super easy to put together in about 5 mins & seems pretty sturdy. Before ordering, I was concerned the baskets might not be deep or sturdy enough to hold cans, but the baskets look like they're going to work out great! Now I've got the space to reorganize that annoying skinny pantry without all the cans. I'm in heaven!!! I'm thinking of getting another one for the craft room or bathroom! Highly recommend!

I live in an apartment and got this to go over the door of our laundry closet. It holds medicine, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, & more stuff that didn’t have a contained space. Vertical storage is key for apartment living and door storage is one of the best uses of minimal space.

Love this door rack. It was very easy to put together and hang. It came with non removable sticky pads to secure the bottom to the door so it doesn’t bang and move when opening and closing the door but I replaced those with 3M ones that are removable as we are renters. Baskets are easy to install and sturdy and hold a lot. I wish I had purchased it sooner. Definitely organized my little pantry.

Worth the $! I’m so happy with this product. I was worried it would not fit my tiny little door and be too obtrusive to my tiny doorway. It fits perfectly, doesn’t interfere with my lever handle, and there’s still plenty of room to get around it and get inside my (tiny) pantry. Very easy to put together very sturdy. My only criticism is the idea that you can also easily mount it on the wall…that would not be possible unless you have a little saw or tool that can cut metal. I thought the bracket would be bendable to snap in half but it’s pretty thick/sturdy. You’d need to cut it if you plan to hang on the wall and then you can no longer hang it on the door as you’ve just cut the top part off. Should come with two different mounting brackets if they advertise the two options but I love it on my door so still 5 stars!

This over the door pantry shelf was just what we needed! Perfectly fit on the door of our pantry and created so much extra shelf space! I wanted it mainly for spices which I had previously stored in a narrow cabinet. Finding the spice I needed involved taking almost everything out. Spices were stacked on top of each other, it was a pain. Now I have them stored on the rack right inside my pantry! So much easier to find what I need and extra room for other things. This was super easy to put together and very sturdy. I read some reviews about the side poles not staying together but these poles fit together with a snap in ball bearing so no problem with them ever coming apart unless you want them to. Highly recommend!

The unit arrived in a such a small box that I thought something had to be wrong. But all the parts were there and nothing was damaged, despite some dings in the box. At first I thought it was a little flimsy looking but once it's put together and hung on the door, it's all good. I had a little trouble inserting a couple of the pieces that join the posts but it's probably good because they fit very tight. I love the fact that they include spacers for making it a snug fit when hanging on the door. My door is 1.5". Without the spacers, the dimension of the hanging bracket is 2" and with the spacers, it's exactly 1.5", a perfect fit for my door. I also took hb4867's suggestion and used double-sided command strips to attach the bottom brackets to the door so there's no movement when opening and closing the door. Works great. I'm very happy so far with the product and recommend it to anyone looking to help de-clutter their pantry, or however you may decide to use it.

I had purchased another popular brand of over-the-door storage from a big box store when we moved into our apartment. It had an open back and big gaps on each side of each shelf. It never laid flat against the door. So things stored on the shelves constantly fell off the shelves from the back; sometimes to the shelf below, sometimes to the floor.The Smart Design is a breeze to assemble! The basket style "shelves" make the problem I had before a non-issue. It sits flat against the pantry door. The over-the-door hooks are sturdy without being excessively thick. That said, if the door you're thinking of putting this on has a very small space between the top of the door and the frame, the door might not close.The Smart Design has plenty of space for my spices and seasonings and my index card sized recipe box. The reason I didn't give 5 stars overall is because the resin (read: plastic) baskets could be sturdier. While they're not thin or cheap, they have some flex to them. So, in my opinion, this wouldn't work well for anything heavy.Overall I'm super happy with it. I'd buy it again and definitely recommend it!
