If you need a toilet that is at least 17" high, as the ADA specifies, then this toilet won't satisfy you. You'd need to measure it before installing, because you would not want to try to return it after paying for installation. We measured our toilet installed at 16", at the front edge of the seat. The manufacturer responded by telling us that our measurements were not correct, claiming that our measuring tapes were not standard. You be the judge, "Who you going to believe, the manufacturer or you own lying eyes?"Aside from the issue of being shorter than we wanted, the bidet and automatic features work well and the toilet is a bargain.My 3 star review is a combination of 1 for height and 5 for features.

Never would I ever think I would be using a smart toilet 2 years ago, but ever since my last visit to Japan, I have to have one of these for my main bathroom. I found this toilet to be a good deal as it has everything I need from seat warmer to warm water to auto flush sensor. This toilet came in a large box as a single unit. I did hire a plumber to remove my old toilet and put this one in. It took the plumber about 2 hours from start to finish. The instruction to use is very easy. I love how the remote control is a hard key and not those touch pad like some I have encountered in Japan. This smart toilet is just amazing as it reminds me of Japan. I can control how hot the seat is to how hot the water is. I love that it also has an air dryer that is also heated! Another plus is this toilet uses much less water than my traditional toilet as it has power assisted flushing. The height is fine the same as my previous toilet so I have no issues there.
