Feel of this sweater is great, soft yet warm. Smart wool women's clothing is "fitted", therefore I ordered a size up and the fit it great. Sleeves are a little long.

I'm consistently chilled - these are so comfy 4-seasons, love the fit and design. I have a drawer full and wear them for gardening and with a blazer or cardigan to work!

This is a very stylish base layer, I absolutely love it. SmartWool fit is consistent and they are clear in describing the weight of the merino wool products. I’ve bought more functional base layers from them before, so expect the same quality and durability in this top.

Absolutely the most luxurious wool 1/4 zip I have ever tried on. I have many Smartwool products and love their quality. I have 9 Smartwool 1/4 zip Base Layer 100% merino wool shirts in medium and large sizes that all fit well. This size large shirt is way too large in all ways (arm length, body length, size of the neck and overall body size). I look forward to receiving the same shirt in a size medium. I am 125 pounds, 5 ft. 7 inches tall with long limbs and thin neck.

Quality wool, I wear it almost daily. It's stretchy and non restrictive. Good craftsmanship & zipper. Not itchy. The seams are secure. I don't wash it in hot water or dry it in a dryer. I lay it on a table in it's shape to dry so it doesn't shrink. It's been good to me & well worth the $.

Smartwool Merino 250 1/4 Zip baselayer is my go-to "sweater" all winter long. I either buy one or ask for one for Christmas every year, because there is always a new beautiful color or design. Not to heavy and not too thin, they look lovely on. They hold their shape through washing (though they never get stinky and don't require it often) and can either be tumbled dry on low heat or hung to dry. Very flattering. They are my winter uniform.
