Smith has been around for a while and still makes the best quality mini torches. They are more expensive than the copies but worth the extra price. Pay once, cry once.

The Little Torch is a good piece of equipment. However, I have had a problem under warranty and have not been able to secure support. The listing directed me to the manufacturer (Miller Welding) who sent me to the local dealer, who told me they could not help. My second inquiry has not been answered. Do yourself a favor and buy from Rio, Gesswein, Esslinger, etc. Their support teams are there when you need them. The convenience of expedited shipping isn’t worth it in the long run.

I am using the Smith Little Torch model in jewelry class so I purchased this one for home use when the class ends. I am In the process of setting up my work bench. Can't wait to use it!
