First off, the guards were not straight, one of the guards bowed significantly away from the vehicle. I thought bolting it to the vehicle would fix this, and for the most part, it did, however, it was still noticeable on the bottom next to the door after install. Additionally, very few of the holes lined up with the vehicle. I was forced to drill new holes for the fender flares and new ones entirely to remount the gas cover. Overall, I installed these, but would not have purchased this if I had known how poorly it was truly was.

I bought these not realizing they are made in China. They work great but are heavy. I think I will opt for Aluminum if I want to change or do another Jeep.

instalation was relatively easy. Be sure to save the lower rivnuts. I just pulled mine out but had no way to install the bolt and nut. Fit perfect with XRC rocksliders and 3" flares. Easier to install rock sliders first and bolts did rust after 2 days.

Really like them in the sense that will probably take a beating. The main issues; right side was bent outward, but screwing in down hard enough allowed it to bend closer to the tub. My right rear is smashed in from a tree, but really wasn't an issue. There is still a gap though. Left side; gas tank filler mount screw holes do not line up. Everything else lined up, but not those. Given the thickness of the steel these things weigh a ton. Two sided coin of adding armor. The hex bolts are tough to tighten down without stripping them. These are cheaper than AL corners, so I am very happy in that sense. If you think weight is going to be an issue with your TJ; I do recommend saving your money for aluminum.

Product was far from satisfactorily, and wouldn't recommend because of poor fit.I would pay the extra money and buy genright corners next time.I bought them because they were painted and ready to install.I read reveiws and they had the same problem but I thought because I was experienced with metal fab that wouldn't be a problem.I was was wrong to buy these and I hope this review helps someone.

Bought these for my 98 TJ. Out of the box they look great, but when installing the quality starts to show. The corners wouldn't fit smoothly against the body, when it was strait not all the holes lined up for the fenders on the corner guards. Some grinding may be required for figment with your aftermarket rockslides. Would recommend not buying these and spend the extra $ for some good quality ones for poison spyder or gen right.

Just finished installing these on my 97 wrangler and I love em, very strong and all the holes for the flares lined up perfectly, and the finish on these are great. You do have to do some drilling on the body, but the install went well, very easy.
