I used it for my gender reveal & the instructions on it got me the result I wanted just need to buy your baking soda & vinegar separately! Keep in mind you will have to paint this too, that took a couple days with having to let it dry before painting more.

Wanted a volcano that was a good size. So many seem to be quite small, and it some cases smaller than a coke can. This turned out to be the size of a two liter. Went together fast with the paint and brushes provided. Eruptions where nice. Turned out good for the Science project.

My kid still has the volcano, if your kid loves volcanoes just get this thing they can break the pieces and you can literally superglue them back together so it will last a while unless you use real lava.

I purchased this volcano kit for my son's 2nd grade science fair project and it was amazing! It comes with 3 smooth foam pieces that you paint, let dry, and then put together. Doing the experiments was super easy since an empty bottle can be connected to the top of the volcano from the inside so the volcano is reusable. My son had so much fun putting this together and making the volcano erupt. He received a lot of compliments on his volcano. I would definitely recommend this project for a project or just as a fun home experiment.

Made a great science project. The cost of it should have been cheaper because vinegar, baking soda, red food coloring, and dish detergent isn’t included and you will need those things to make it erupt. It only comes with the 3 pieces of foam that you have to put together Nd paint Nd two brushes. I super glued the foam pieces together so that it wouldn’t come apart

Bought this for my four year old he's into volcanos badly and boy did he love this especially the sitting down part painting together. Very easy to paint but highly recommend getting better smaller paint brushes these ones are not easy to paint fine lines but all in all this really was a great project to do with my son an highly recommend for any children four an plus. Paint was easy to wash off after. Does not come with the stuff to make it erupt like chemical wise to replicate lava. Does come with five different Colors that make it look really nice.

I HAD ORDERED THIS ITEM, BECAUSE OF ITS SIZE. I WAS LOOKING FOR A VOLCANO PROJECT TO DO WITH MY PRE-K STUDENTS AND WAS LOOKING FOR A VOLCANO BIG IN SIZE, SO THAT EVERY STUDENT IN MY CLASS CAN TAKE A LOOK AT IT. WELL, THIS DID THE JOB. MY ONLY WISH WAS THAT IT CAME WITH THE MATERIALS USE TO MAKE THE ERUPTION SUCH AS THE BAKING SODA, VINEGAR, RED FOOD COLORING ETC. WHICH I TAUGHT IT DID.ALSO JUST A HEADS UP, THE VOLCANO ITSELF IS MADE OUT OF FOAM. WHAT I DID TO MAKE SURE THE THREE PIECE VOLCANO STAYED TOGETHER WHEN STACKING THEM ON TOP OF EACHOTHER TO CREATE THE VALCANO, WAS TO DAB A LITTLE HOT GLUE TO KEEP THEM TOGETHER. I ALSO SPRAYED PAINTED THE VOLCANO BLACK INSTEAD OF USING THE BLACK PAINT THEY PROVIDE IN THE BOX.
