I really dislike the worm drive clamps but they are cheap and easy to get anywhere, but whenever possible I do use these T-bolt hose clamps. They are best suited to applications that don't have a large temperature variation due to the metal expanding and contracting potentially causing leaks and coming loose overtime, like on radiator hoses. Stick with constant pressure spring clamps there as you may get small leaks with the T-bolt clamps here and it is not the fault of the clamp, just not the right application IMHO. I applied one of these clamps on a leaky power steering hose and it has worked fine. Normally I would snug it up and recheck in a week, but for the review I used my torque wrench and tightened it to 50 inch pounds, rechecked in a week and it had gone down to low 40's so I reset it. Next week holding fine so maybe a little stretch in the metal or could be compression of the hose but either way when used for the correct application and rechecking after some use I's recommend these. The threads are smooth and finish is nice, good value. Just measure and make sure you get the right size as these are not infinitely adjustable like the cheap worm drive clamps.

The clamps tightened up with out digging into the soft silicone hose. Great quality. The wrench is a nice bonus.

These are good. They are just maybe 20-30 % wider than typical clamps so they donโt fit quite right in some situations. Be aware of how you might use them. For automotive applications, they might not fit.

I hate worm gear hose clamps! They strip out before they get tight enough to stop leaks. These clamps are strong, rugged and easy to use. The provided wrenches are a plus!I will never use another style again!!
