got this for my snowblower came with no screws luckily i had them from my last blade and put on used for 5 minutes blade is already bent and warped from 4 inch snow blow. Should have lasted longer going to return.

For some reason I was under the impression that these would be metal like the ones that came on my machine, mainly because the listing mentions durable material, but they are just plastic rails. They installed easily, but likely won't last very long depending on the amount of use. They should definitely tell you in the listing what they are made of though. This is just two pieces of plastic for $20, so you can definitely find cheaper ones for what they are.

These replacement scraper bars are essentially identical to the original one that came with the snow blower. They are made of a plastic that will not shatter when used in cold conditions. However, they do wear out pretty quickly when used on a concrete surface, as is normally the case. I’d say they’d last for roughly a dozen clearings of a driveway surface, then they’d be worn down to the point that they no longer function as scrapers and would need to be replaced. Hence, it is good that there are 2 in the package. Note that the scraper bar is reversible, so when it wears down, you can simply unbolt it, rotate it 180 degrees and bolt it back on, and the new/fresh edge will be exposed. The reversible feature does give a sort of double life to the product. Each is held on by 4 bolts, easy to replace. Not much more to say about these. They’re essentially identical to the original equipment component.

Installed this skid plate on my 2007 Yard Man 22” single stage snowblower. Works perfectly. It’s two sided. So when the first side wears down, just flip it around and get on with down to the pavement snowblowing. It’s imperative that you have a decent set of paddles installed. As the paddles wear you can adjust this skid plate to work as the paddles wear. Great price for a quality product.

Two scrapper bars came in package which I wasn’t sure of in description. Fit great for my 21” single stage snowblower. Only thing is I wish they came with new carriage bolts and lock nuts or at least offered them. They require 1/4” x 5/8” long carriage bolts but I was able to get my old ones off this time and reuse them.
